Cuscuzeira Pan Large no.2
Couscous Pan from Brazil- Cuscuzeiro Nordestino is the authentic aluminium pan with special steamer insert for making the traditional "cuzcuz nordestino" which is a steamed couscous savoury cake like dish.
Recipes can vary however please see an example below:
Ingredients:
- 250g Yoki Flaked Corn Flour or Yoki Kimilho Flocao
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of water
Method:
Add ingredients into a bowl, mix well & wait for 5 minutes. Add mixture into the steamer section of the pan. Add 4-5cm water to the bottom of the pan. Cook on the stove top with lid on for approx 15 minutes. Can be served hot or cold, also other items such as boiled egg, canned tuna etc can be added to the mixture during preparation.
